I always go the impression that the song was saying "Don't worry about anything, because chances are, things aren't what they appear to be." There's the whole TV trying to save me, but giving my cancer lines, and the obvious "I lied and told her I loved her" bit, but the chorus too, with "I tell you one thing, you tell me another" line too. There is no singular reality, so don't stress about the things that are part of yours. But anyway, maybe I'm just reading too far into it. |
