The words are actually "Save some room for me And say hello to your dad" not "Say you won't stay for me" And "But I'll love your troubles I'm not gone." not "And I'm gone" I think it's about two friends that obviously did something wrong. And one either died later, or committed suicide. Like the line "Say hello to your dad", as in the boy who died had a father who is also dead. And "You dont have to worry about it now you don't have to live with that frown", he doesn't need to be sad anymore because he is gone. Really, I think all the lines give the allusion of someone close to another dying. |
