this is a quote from guitar world Jeff Hanneman: "This song is about Countess [Elizabeth] Bathory [the Hungarian noble dubbed the "blood countess," considered the most prolific female serial killer in history]. I know venom already wrote a song about her["Countess Bathory" from 1982's Black Metal], but this ones better. [laughs] The only problem I had was figuring out how to write from the female perspective. to be able to write our stuff I have to get into character, whterty It's a serial killer or whatever, and imagine what they were thinkin. But i've never had to get into the mindset of a woman before.[laughs] I'll tell , it took a while to figure out." |

To answer your question about the sound clips the 1st the begining the evil demonic hellish sounds are from Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead" (side note: appears in the film "Donnie Darko" [the moviethearter scene] and "A nightmare on elm street" on the TV) 2nd: the voice that says "liberate tute me ex inferis" is from "Event Horizon" (Laurance Fishburne, Sam Neil) 3rd at the end of the track: the vocie thats says something like "...the darkness from the other place it shows you things I WON'T GO BACK THERE I won't" is also from "Event Horizon" Which if you have not see either of these films I would recomend you to watch them "evil dead" is a cult classic horror film and "event horizon" is the scariest movie I have ever seen but you must watch them in the dark by yourself |
