I think this is about how schools change history to make their country look better. Christopher Columbus is an example. Some schools aren't even allowed to teach evolution! Also the many references to pop culture seems to be how even the media go along with these lies. Many shows or movies treat Christopher Columbus as a kind-hearted explorer, when in fact, he was very cruel. And the exile part seems top be saying anyone who believes the truth is often considered wrong. The line "We're not taking sides, just promoting the logical" is saying "we aren't saying you're stupid, just mislead". I love this song because I can really relate to it. I've always been ahead of my age in academics, (I'm 12 and doing 8th grade math!) and some people call me a "nerd" just because I like learning. But I'll be the one laughing in my big mansion while they all make burgers and fries in some fast-food chain. ;) |
