Hello . I'm new and I just found this site. I am forever trying to work out meanings to some songs ,there are many deep meanings in some songs and others are pretty simple. BUT, this song "Lady D'Arbanville", may have given Mr Islam the idea and name, because of a bad relationship and breakup,yes. But, this song is, in my mind, absolutely a Vampires song. Read the lyrics, "I loved you my lady but in your grave you lie" lips like winter , roses, love will never die its all there. What about the wailing female background voices in it "I loved you my lady background chorus sings ah ah ah ahh or la la la lah, you know the part, well if thats not the three baby eaters shrilling their screams while missing out on Jonathon Harkers blood I'll go he!. This is what I love about some songs you can let your imagination run away. The first time I heard this song it was haunting and I thought it may have had a middle ages feel, about this Lady, dying of plague and the desperate husband or lover clutching at straws. Nope! its a Vampire song, read it . Whether he is the Vampire and he will re use her tomorrow or whether she is of for her little death and he's the confused sucked in victim??????????????????????????? Its a ripper! |
