I LOVE this song! to me it has two meanings- its about southern girls and how they're "prettier" but it has a deeper meaning as well- most southern people are republicans and the majority of democrats are not southern. She's singing about the two different parties "so lets shake hands and reach across those party lines" - its a great and cute way to disguise something so political. love her! |
