As someone that used to do a bit of promo work for the band and still occasionally talks to a couple of the former members, I can tell you exactly what it is about. Joe Kiser, the instrumentalist / songwriter who wrote all the lyrics once mentioned on their official forum that this song is a written embodiment of his own social anxiety and is a reflection of the disjointed thoughts and panic which he would feel in large social situations. |
