I seriously think this song was written for me. Of course my interpretation is way off but it applies to me so why not share it! "Well, she found a love and he found a victim, he thought it was strange, she knew it was meant to be" I relate to this because I fell in love with a guy who could never love me. I was just another one of his girls that he would play aka 'victim.' "She gave him no lies, she gave her innocence* From day one it seemed she'd wake up from the day dream" Again, I was stuck in my own little fairy tale and gave away my so called 'innocence' to this boy. I would have given him everything and anything. Hence the line then, "She'd give him the world, he only had to ask her." "Well, she found a love and he found a life line, her eyes were jet black, she figured the right time to leave was approaching and soon she'd be leaving." I finally saw that I couldn't fix him and I had to leave him if I ever wanted to reclaim my sanity. "She knows she must run, but has to run faster, Yeah, she was a princess and he was a bastard." Funnily enough, he used to call me 'princess' and in the end he was a bastard- hahahaha sorry couldn't resist guys! ;p "I know this hard - just have faith in the Lord. but the lord has not been seen around here in years." Even though I am not religious I can still relate. I think this simply means nothing can save them now and there is no good left between each other. |

He has been hurt in the past (If I could tell you one thing I think that you should know I'm not afraid to love you Just of letting go) But when he meets this girl he feels bad because he's too "selfish" to let go of all the other girls he has. | personally, i think this song is about a guy who can't give up on the girl he loves and has got away. so he plays the new girl he's with and doesn't give her his whole heart because it belongs to the other. and he wants to love the new girl but he's scared that it'll all be ruined like the last girl he loved. he thinks the new girl deserves better because he's to selfish to give up the old girl. he's beating himself up about it. quite sad. | |

| to me, this song is about the love that got away. she's so pure and innocent like a child and the singer is dark and twisted. he doesn't like himself but he thinks that he helped her see the true light and wonders of the world. but after shes gone, he starts obsessing over her and wants her back. and to kill all of you might have two meanings. 1. he wants to kill her so no one else can have her and her memory will be preserved or 2. he wants to taint her. kill all the innocence she has left and break her down; change her world to dark like his own. and so he's simply waiting for her to come back to him so he can get gratification for what he's been craving. | |
