The lyrics to this song are in the booklet of the CD.... (I'm talking to you, whoever put these lyrics on here). Corrections: "he's working all on his own" should be "he's working all morning long". "see his mate by his wings" is either "a tune is made by his wings" or "to his mate by his wings" (can't remember right now). "will you sleep as worse as me" should be "will you speak harsh words to me" (seriously? Will you sleep as worse as me makes NO sense). "the birds are meetin' in the trees" should be "the birds all meet in the trees". "perform love on their limbs" should be "they form lines on the limbs" (limbs referring to tree branches). "are you ever gonna treat me right" should be "will you ever not treat me right" (you're right AlmightyChrissy, wouldn't fit with the rest of the song if it was the way it's written on here!) "will you let me shake our tree" should be "will you let them come shake our tree" So, with that being said, go buy this CD, it's AMAZING. |
