It's so obvious it's about John. I'm a big big big fan of John's & once I heard this song, it got me thinking about the line "The battle's in your hands now, but I would lay my armor down if you say you'd rather love than fight." Is it just me or does this sorta sound like a reply to John Mayers lyrics in Heartbreak Warfare? "I swear to God we're going to get it right, If you lay your weapon down." It's a good song none the less. |
