light and darkness good and evil heaven and hell, "the light that is not light is here to flush you out with your own fear you hide you hide you will be found release your grip without a sound". the videos help out a lot of times with these things and other times the videos throw you off but thats done on purpose. the video is about war killing but something is strange about these people doing the killing they are skeletons dead people which arent dead physically but emotionally spiritually dead. demons use fear to conquer and when they have you, its not always known because it feels right. demons also know how to be very reflective and appealing as the right thing or however whatever the situation. the scientist in the video are making some kind of creature maybe gene splicing? destroying natural order? playing God? idk what the significance is of metallica singing it or what perspective its from though. sometimes the entire album paints a picture it cant be painted by a single song on that album idk if thats true here but the albums name is "Death Magnetic" so?...i could be wrong about the whole thing, but it does ask what it means to me so maybe it will help out honestly i dont know. other albums have suggested the subject Some kind of Monster "Some kind of Monster, This monster Lives" Enter Sandman "Now i lay me down to sleep i pray the lord my soul to keep if i die before i wake i pray the lord my soul to take, hush little baby dont say a word and never mind that noise you heard its just the beasts under your bed in your closet in your head" Harvester of sorrow "Harvester of sorrow Language of the Mad harvester of sorrow, all have said their prayers invade their nightmares to see into my eyes youll find where murder lies" Cure "uncross your arms take and throw them to the cure say i do believe...yeah everyones got to have the sickness cause everyone seems to need the cure"? make your own decision many of their lyrics suggest this, and its not just metallicas lyrics many others suggest the same subject in their lyrics. |
