*my opinioon* not car virgin sex, but maybe a guy who had his first time with an older woman, and was fascinated by her, when she was only using him. "i found blood and i saw stars", as it is his first time it is full of new experiences, anxieties, and blood can mean the emotions of a new thing like this coming to their very edge, like the blood from a deep wound, when the i saw stars refers to the pleasure and sensation of being higher. when it says all in backseat of your car, it is a clear reference to where lovers usually have sex. "i told you it was love, but you don't wanna know the truth" confirms the theory that the girl just wants his body, and he also says " i'm a young man in my prime, with my heart still filled with fear, and it goes on clear" he is a young man in his prime, that's why she's having sex with him, and his heart is insecure and fearful for the new experience, and she can say that 'it goes on clear' because of her previous sexual experiences. again, MY opinion. dont want to fight. <3 MGMT |

nowadays, no one cares of whats real, only what's beautiful and "buyable". thats what the song is about, you can buy everything and put it in a supermarket car -hence the video- anyways, it makes me think that it is about two people in love, but she wants to forget him, since he's not beautiful and she is already married to a rich and well-succeeded man(who is also in a crisis, because he just found out his work was worthless). "my fake plastic love" doesnt mean the love isn't real, but that even though she is fake and plastic, he still loves her, what makes him sad and mad at himself, trying to forget her. <3 radiohead |

'comes like a comet/suckered you but not your friends/ one day he'll get to you and teach you how to be a holy cow' the influence of the media for everyone to have a perfect body, the repeated 'you do it to yourself', 'cant get the stink off' could be for blood/vomit... idk just really reminds me =/ |
