I think it is about someone who wants everybody to feel sorry for them. "So you have traveled far Across the sea To spread your Written brand Of misery" Maybe this part means someone who says they have been through the worst stuff possible (when they haven't) and they tell other people so they can just "feed" off of their sympathy/empathy. But that's just my opinion. |
