Yeah, the end he's just saying he's not trying to be depressing or "emo" about it but it doesn't matter that the situation is bleak because that never stopped them fighting before. |

It's pretty simple. It means that, although the system and the governments/religions in this world seem so powerful, in the end, when the system collapses, humanity will still be there as strong as ever before (: |

I believe you're right but there's also another angle to it somewhere and it's important to note the reference to heroin I think. "Take a needle and a tarnished spoon." |

| Flobots – Handlebars Lyrics

It's about innocence, human innovation and the power, responsibility and corruption that can stem from it.
The start is about what the two people can innocently accomplish and the potential they have. But as their abilities grow one of them seeks more power to cause good. They grow in power and responsibilities and they have the power to cause great good. But as they become more technologically advanced so does their power to cause good OR bad and with that the danger and responsibility. In the end, they get overcome by power and despite their good intentions greed starts to control everything. The other person was more humble and never sought the power it takes to make such changes. He tries to save the world and stand up at the end but by then the system is too powerful. It's about the responsibilities and great power we have as a race and the whole story is a metaphor for humanity itself. |

| NOFX – The Man I Killed Lyrics

Kind of ironic, considering your name. And you are totally wrong anyway and Erik Shun was correct, "fucktard".
It is about even if he killed Bush, dick cheney would just become president anyway.
"I heard one thousand people screaming while three billion others cheered"
"Beady eyes"
"The man I killed's replacement planned this whole scenario"
"Otherwise a caring and respectable member of society"
"I made the utmost sacrifice" (obviously meaning he killed Bush to help the world but of course it would cost him his own life)
"The DART punctured the skin"
Obviously not about Tookie Williams. |
