There are many interpretations for this song, but the main theme is a comparison between the heroine (the main female character in his story), and heroin (a highly destructive drug). The man is addicted to this woman like a drug, she can make him happy and forget about all the pain he had. Eventually he realises this escape from reality is only temporary, and the fake comfort she provided him is more of a torture than pleasure, but due to the addiction of the 'drug', he can't seem to let her go, even knowing that carrying on like this will only lead him to destruction. |

the theme of this song is about a boy loving a girl who doesn't love him back. The line "And I've been waiting for so long, to hold you in my arms, embrace forever my sweet girl" tells how much he wanted her. The boy believe it's because she's too good for him, hence "You are the ghost of everything I'm not and I want be..." |
