I think youve overlooked what the real meaning of the song is. I think he's criticising the media for how they brainwash society and put undue pressure on teenage girls. He says "'We' like your ...." as in we've all been told that this is what we should like and "everybody gunna get one of those" as in we must be like them to conform. You are right that part of it is about a girl who doesnt like the way she is because she has been bainwashed by the media but i do not think it is a stab at teenage girls. They are the victim in this story. |
