i had a similar experience late last year when my grandfather passed. it was comforting to hear these lyrics, i felt serene. i honestly think it helped the mourning go by smoother, it was very powerful. music like this is beyond contemporary, it's geniune art. |

I've heard a lot of his interviews and he brings up the margin that exists between what is man and what is woman, and he seemed confused as to why there are doduble standards. he's criticizing the behavioral standard for men and women in the sense of sexuality. he was an open thinker and although his lyrics were sometimes pessimistic, he was very spiritual and understood that everyone on earth, at one point or another, experiences homosexual connections, wether they act on them or not. he understood that it's only human to feel that way on occasion, so he honestly didn't care. literally, "everyone is gay" at some ponit, so whats the fuss about maintaining a completely heterosexual profile and alientaing those who aren't doing so? he brought up the hypocracy that exists in this world about the nature of being human in those two short lines. |
