Well this song is obviously a type of love song and the person singing is doubting herself and wondering if she's really worth his love and she envies everyone who she thinks is worth his love. I think the Skimming Stones are a way to say that she's not going to leave him "These skimming stones decide" could mean she made up her mind and "these skimming stones still lie" probably means that she will remain with him. All and all, beautiful song. I listen to it way too much :) |
