| All you people are wrong. In an interview Alex Turner was asked what the meaning of this song was. He answered that it actually was written regarding the people of Sheffield (their home town) and their lack of support. When he was asked whether they were glad to be called vampires his rebuttal was that they wasn't very happy with the title but he stood by the lyrics. | |
