| Hey Alexsmeds - just a point on ur interpretation of the lyrics there, I mean don't u understand the meaning at all? The whole point of the song is that he DOESN'T end up with a girl he fancies. She's too shy and he's not got the balls to go get her - that's why he ends up walking home alone with the 'ghosts' of the other losers who went out and got drunk but didn't score. C'mon it's obvious - the lyrics hit the core of every dude's insecurities on a night out. He's imagining how stupid the situation is - crying shame - that he fancies her and she might fanct him but neither of them know because they didn't speak or get together. He wasn't able to chat her up (both too shy in effect) and he's going home alone. Man read the lyrics again, then read ur interpretation and tell me I'm wrong.
