I hate to repeat what everyone else has said, but this is such a simple song, such simple lyrics, yet so effective. He is very truthful about every aspect of this song, qualities that make a perfect songwriter. This song makes me so content with life. Reminds me of dark nights at Christmas last year <3 |

I love the 'much better' line. Joe Jonas might have thought he was clever with his retaliation to 'forever and always' with the song 'much better', but seriously, this song is amazing. Apparently Taylor really does always get the last word. I wonder what Joe Bro's will have the say about this one. |

I originally thought it was about her dad, but as I got further down the lyrics I realised that it couldn't possibly be about her dad with lines like.. "Something in his deep browns eyes has me sing- Hes not as bad like this, reputation" I personally think that this one is also about John Mayer. I love these little insights into her life, amazing songwriter. |
