| Lissie – Worried About Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
She's singing about her insecurities in the relationship. Basically, she wants her significant other to tell her that they care for her too, as much as she does them. It seems like the S.O. doesn't care about her enough, is someone who has a different personality, is busy or tied down to something, is preoccupied with someone else (the possibilities are endless). It seems as if there's a major lack of communication between them and she's very unhappy. So she is guilt-tripping/issuing a warning or threatening the S.O. with the lines: "Honey why can't you see I'll stop worrying about what you're doin' doin' Cause you're not worried bout what I'm doing too And then you will see What it was like to be me -e -e" |

| Brandi Carlile – Josephine Lyrics | 15 years ago |

It's probably about a love that has changed. The singer is missing the way it used to be with Josephine (as a person) or in Josephine (as a place where/when the good memories took place). The song could be just an expression of feeling lost after the love, or a plea to revive the love. It seems as if the relationship has gone all vague (almost dead)...and the singer is leaving it up to the other person to do something about it. The question is, why isn't she doing anything to it herself? |
