I think "never-fading" and "rain" are one phrase. I can't be sure of anything but could this song be about his love for Tarja? "Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart"(notice the capitalization here?) So the Amaranth could be his love for Tarja, his "immortal love", "the Never-Fading". "Rain in your heart" because it's a pain: that she's not there anymore.I guess it should be read like: the Never-Fading IS RAINNING in your heart or something like that. "Reaching, searching for something untouched": he still loves her, but couldn't "touched" here. "hearing voices of the Never-Fading calling": his love for her. I still not sure about the "tears of snow-white sorrow" and the "land of the daybreak" but I think the rest of the song makes sens. Am I wrong? |
