this song is so incredible! i can't believe taylor wrote it all by herself, and compressed her ideas about all into one song. of course i'm kind of turned off by it because it's about john mayer, king of the douches, but it's still an amazing song to help any girl who's ever been hopelessly let down by a guy, especially an older one. i love the last line, "the girl in the dress wrote you a song." She always talks in interviews about how guys she dates should be nice to her or they'll end up in a song. He should have known not to be a man whore with her, especially because they wrote a song together, because she would write a song about him. i just love taylor. she's the definition of amazing. |

first of all i LOVE this song. it reminds me of this guy i liked a while ago. i haven't seen him in over a year, and sometimes i wonder how he's doing, like the line, "I hope it's nice where you are." Her voice is so gorgeous in this. Why do people say she can't sing? I mean she's no, like, Kelly Clarkson but her voice is cute and fragile, like her vulnerability, which is what defines most of her songs. It makes her unique. |
