Fleet Foxes – He Doesn't Know Why Lyrics 15 years ago
When I listen to this song I think of my own older brother. he had an alcohol problem and was sent to an intense wilderness program in Utah. When I saw him for the first time after the program, listening to this song made me cry. It was almost directly related to what our experience was like together. The part where is says there is nothing I can do, has a lot to do with what AL Anon teaches the families of those who love an addict.

The Walkmen – Tenley-Town Lyrics 15 years ago
The walkmen went to high school in DC. There's this one area of DC called tenleytown, and it's mostly teenage kids getting drunk and high, which can be easily interpreted from this song. I also get the feeling of growing up and letting go..

Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal Lyrics 15 years ago
When I listen to fleet foxes I get the sense he is talking to his older brother (he has one) and that his older brother and a drug/alcohol problem. My older brother is a recovering addict, so many of the fleet foxes lyrics mean a lot to me.
