Okay see this bothers me bc everywhere I look it says Meatwad's verse is "I'm a Taurus" but according to fandom his birthday is September 23. Not a Taurus. I always thought the lyrics said, "Ice on my fingers, on my toes, and on my toys" which would make way more sense. |

@[akaltenbach:32621] this just put me in tears. I lost my dad 4 months ago. We fought lung cancer together for 2 years. I was having a really hard time today and this song came in my head and wouldn't leave. I hope it's a sign from him. |

I think this part at least has to do with abuse. Back when my parents were growing up, women had a different place in society and needed men more to remain "normal" in society (financially, etc) and because of that, many women put up with abuse and even said to love their husbands thoroughly.
Also, people that are abused as children often associate love with that abuse. Love the ones you bleed could be an outlook taken from lessons learned as a child, continuing the cycle of abuse.
