I like "She's a million miles away across the bed" because it can apply to the woman in the affair now being so far, but also his wife/partner being right next to him yet so distant in their relationship I also like "It's the way she doesn't try" because, again, I see how it can apply to how the woman in the affair was so effortlessly attractive, but also how his wife/partner doesn't seem to try to work things out anymore in the relationship |

I feel that the line "You're not where you belong inside my heart" can mean two things: - You're not in my heart, which is where you belong - You don't belong in my heart [anymore] The two meanings are very different, but I love that they could mean either one. I'm sure it's actually the first one, but I like the idea that the song could be more about how someone no longer loves someone else rather than how someone misses someone else.. |
