Yes, with the "that my friends are gonna leave me if they don't believe that they can save me" line Wow, I didn't think 'save me' as in religious-save-me. I missed that completely somehow! My only interpretation for a long time was save, as in 'save from being depressed all the time'. Both work really, this song (to me) is about problems of religion and getting over depression (to be general). I agree & all his lyrics I've heard are just amazing. |
