A song that is the opposite of "A Cold Day in Hell." This song is full of a man's sheer exhilaration and excitement for having a woman he loves, and he wants to buy her the whole world. It's a good song to dance to, and a good song to listen to when you're on top of the world. |

When did John Anderson sing this? I thought it was (and it definitely was) John Michael Montgomery. |

| Hank Williams – I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry Lyrics

Very few songs can capture the pain of losing a loved one better than this golden oldie, a classic song by a true icon, Hank Williams.
I think I may have listened to this too much after I was dumped in the worst possible way. The words she used to try and let me down easy just kept going through my head. How many times I have put this song and other songs of such downtrodden, broken and melancholy feeling on the stereo and accompanied the doleful tones with attempts to drown the pain with beer and liquor! Thanks, Hank. You have helped me through some tough times, and you still are. |
