This song is about a being depresed and being depresed for a long time. about "that girl that made you promise to try not to care" try not to care about the things that are making you depressed. this guy thinks he will be lonely forever and I would asume he probobly likes this girl and her saying that would make him even more depressed. this person is looking all over for a way to feel better but does not find it so he settles for "I feel at ease with my lows, and I'll take it. Lord knows I'll take it." His music has taken off and his band is doing well but that is not helping with his depresion. He is so depresed that he has called Dr. Howe for help....I would asume for some type of anti depresent. |
