First off, can I just say: thank the lord for Ed Sheeran for writing such beautiful lyrics and the boys for having such angelic voices, ugh! This is how I see it... He starts off by singing about the girl he's in love with and how all the things she's insecure about when it comes to herself are actually things that make him love her. Then, he goes from saying "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth" (I guess he doesn't want to point these things out because she's sensitive about them?) to saying "I've just let these little things slip out of my mouth." But it doesn't matter because all of these qualities (or "little things") make her who she is and as he says, she's perfect to him. So in the end, he's telling her he's in love with her and everything about her, no matter if she views some of those qualities as imperfections. |
