Oliver has said many times he's done something in his past that he refuses to talk about... which I'm assuming this song is about... Suicide attempt? Self harm? ... that rumor about him raping a girl? This SONG really eats away at me because we'll never really know what Oli's hiding... but it's clear he's done something he's ashamed of... many of the songs talk about guilt, shame, and regret. GAH. I want to know... |

I personally do not think it is about a relationship... as someone said, with the video it just doesn't make sense. Also, with lyrics like" we are the children that fell from grace. We are the children who can't be saved" I just can't see the whole relationship thing fitting.. I can see the reference to self-harm or a religious meaning obviously making sense. Such a deep song... so much meaning. |
