It's about people in a relationship making assumptions, instead of communicating. They guy has a script written in his head about how to live his life, and how his partner will fit in with them, and what she wants, and what he wants, and so on -- but now she is turning his world upside down, with her own complex inner life. Instead of asking her what is going on, he creates more and more elaborate stories in his head about what is happening. |
