| City and Colour – Little Hell Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Makes me want to cry every time. I'm in a relationship with someone with haunted past. We have our ups and downs. Sometimes you have days when it doesn't feel like it will ever be okay again. That I will never be see them smile again. It is awful. You start to wonder what you are putting yourself through and why. The answer is always the same. They are worth it. So goddamn worth it. |

"Plates they will shift Houses will shake Fences will turn We will awake Only to find Nothing's the same Nothing's the same" Wow. I live in Christchurch, New Zealand and I can't believe how much this song sound like it is about the recent earthquakes that have destroyed so much of our city. Completely unintentional of course but still. Phenomenal. |

"My eyes are covered by the hands of my unborn kids But my heart keeps watching through the skin of my eyelids" Just amazing. I still think that Funeral is their best album. Neon Bible is too experimental and Suburbs is too much of the same. Funeral is just right. |

This song leads on beautifully to 'Lucky You' the next song on the album(as I mentioned in a post on Lucky You) "and I'm turning into fairytales with glitter and some glue everything we ever planned to ever do" My favourite part of this song. So heartbreaking. |

This song leads on nicely from Patterns of Fairytales the song before it on the album "Tonight there's no light under your door, I guess you must be somewhere breathing" and "I fell in love with you no matter what you say" It seems as though that song is about the time right after the relationship has broken down and this song is the time after when she has moved on but he can't stop loving her. He has given her his heart and there is nothing she can do about it. Lucky her. I listened with huge empathy to these songs after my last relationship broke up. I felt the lyrics. Now I have had to walk a mile in the said "lucky" ones shoes, and all I feel is guilty. |

| Karkwa – Le Pyromane Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Such an amazing album. I wish I spoke french fluently enough to be able to understand it all. Tempting to translate the songs but I think they'll lose too much of their essence in the translation. Quite a conundrum. I know however the album title translates to The Glass Pathways/roads. | |
