Pretty fucking funny. This and Drizzlehell are two of the funniest songs on this album.
This (to me) seems like it's about douchebag people nowadays (racist, homophobic, and trendy "gangsta" people who think they're badass and all that. A little off topic, but it reminds me of a lot of popular, jock teenagers who think like that) and the music industry ("How's this for punk, Dink!" As someone else said before me, people wanting him to change his music to some shit he doesn't want to play for stupid money, not for his fans, but for the whole "L.A. rock thing that the malls are buying up" for the mass of people). So yeah, everthing that pisses him off, especially me and everyone else who doesn't want part in today's mainstream media. |

Don't worry, they (kinda) got their groove back, but I'm still mad that Fear Factory don't play industrial death metal like Fear Factory once did, little bands ever did >:(. I recommend to skip this album and move one to Archetype or Mechanize for later work. They aren't that shitty there. |

(long comment ahead) Awesome song, both versions (Concrete version ans Soul Of A New Machine version). I really hate how no other band plays this type of music. All the industrial death metal today is pretty boring, full of slow going techno beats, tracks that can just drag on, completely different from old Fear Factory. If I were to form a band, then it would sound like this. Seems like very few bands have actually ever played this style. |
