| OpinionHead, I think your take on it is very good. I would only add that it may not necessarily be the past life that won't let go of the person, but rather that the person won't let go of the past life. In other words, the world that said person left behind is the one they like(d), but obviously left behind. However, this person is still looking back and clinging to the former life even though everyone around him/her is giving their strength to bring him/herself into the present world. And you're right, it could be about an addiction of any sort, an old flame, heck an old job. And it all underscores the fact that if you want to make changes in your life, it has to be *you* that does it. Everyone around you can support, urge, help as much as possible, but the only one that can do it is *you*. Just my take - couldn't have done it without the previous comment though! | |
