I guess this song is about how countries, religions, the media and other influences want's us to fit in a role we don't want to be - or at least we don't get a chance to decide. So the individual, when it's still young (child, teenager), get's supressed by the environment because it's kinda easy to manipulate and formed the way others want them to be. This could make "sons at arms" out of children, because they have to fight battles they don't have to or are not supposed to. And if we're not trying to raise, aspire or make up our minds, we're all just the same. So we should be about to live life our way, the way we want to. \m/ Great song anyway! |
