I agree with 8fortherecord8, the song is about being on the road and having to leave his girl behind. "Take me with you, I start to miss you Take me home, I don't wanna be alone tonight" ^This seems to me to be the girl talking. She's lonely because he's on the road so much, and she just wants to be with him. The chorus sounds like a reassurance. "And I DO want to show you..." He is promising her that she really does mean the world to him. "I promise I love you and would do anything for you - cross my heart!" |
