'And the lines on the road are only to escape (from it)' i hear it as 'and the lines on the road are only the escape from' or something like that. then the next line is 'only to escape' apologies if you got them straight from the cd jacket :\ it's just been sounding weird to me for a while. |

when i hear this song i think of the struggle to find yourself as you grow up. i feel that he knows who he is inside but is having trouble purveying it towards everyone; especially his girlfriend. 'And now it all comes down to Am I treating you right?' - should i show her who i really am or should i continue to hold the facade of my cool exterior? but that's just my opinion. |
