Anyway, the song appears to be about the dude referring to a woman, now he's in a break down mode. However, I think he knew the shit wasn't going to last and the bitch was a fake from the start. But he still loves her, he just can't stand to see her.

I think it's about how life has it's ups and downs. You get stuck in a rut and don't know where the fuck you're going. You just keep chugging through each day and hope that the universe takes you there. And you assume that you'll get to where you'll be comfortable, but through all the bull shit would it matter anymore? The answer is yes, which is why he would care.
Feel like this applies deeply to me, because I recently went through a lot of BS and gave up on life, something happened and things started picking up, but now that's getting shaky, but now I'm at the point where I'm just going to keep working forward and see what is to become of me and me and the person I love. Whatever happens, happens. In the end what will matter is we're happy and comfortable where we're at. This whole album is about being your own person outside of a couple songs, and people need to learn to find their own way before they can take on a path together with someone. |

I feel like the song is about all the negative thoughts, the ones that drag him down. They're usually placed there by someone else, and it makes sense, but what he needs to do, what he's starting to realize, is that he needs to find his own answers. That's the only way he can be happy and make himself. |
