Yes, it definitely talks about a night in which the love of the singer/protagonist meets another one and leaves and/or betrays him for the "new one". I don't know why, buy I've always had problems in understanding the meaning of songs, and this one was no exception. Then one day, during another listening, it dawned on me (and yeah, it was actually pretty obvious :D ): "hell, this song talks about this poor guy who was left with a broken heart and the thing that come back in his mind it's that night!". Yeah, very beautiful song. I love Battisti, such an "Italian" singer, always dealing about love, beach, women :) |
