this coming from a self-proclaimed juggalo is funny to me. how many times have you seen juggalos threaten to kill, beat or maim their "haters," and how many times have they actually struck another person in anger? |

I generally don't like rap. If it speaks to me or if I find a lot of meaning in it, then there's a good chance I'll like it. But that's true of any genre. I still fail to see how this song can be seen as deep when the lyrics aren't intelligent (I don't think there's any hidden meaning to "Miracles") and so much of their other work is not good. There are a good deal of other artists that have put meaning into their songs because they sunk to incredible lows, and became better, stronger, and more positive because of it. |

If you want to hear good "mainstream" music with true meaning, listen to "Life is Beautiful" by Sixx:A.M. That's on the radio, and it's an amazing song.
Nikki Sixx knows more about miracles than these idiots ever could. He was addicted to heroin for a good deal of his career in Motley Crue. He OD'd twice, and his heart stopped. He technically died both times. He reached the lowest of lows, and came out a better and more optimistic person. Sixx:A.M.'s songs have meaning, and contain no stupid images or idiotic verbal illustrations.
The last line of the song in the music video is "When you've lost it all, that's when you finally that realize life is beautiful." I challenge you to find a quote, lyric, or song by ICP that is remotely as relevant or true as Sixx's quote. Good luck. |
