Awesome song.....i agree with ppl here that this song is about differences in a relationship... the breaking down of a relationship and the desperate plea of a partner(well can b a male or female....surprised by how sexist ppl are...just cuz its a man singing doesnt mean its about the man)....brilliantly done in the sense that it tells the tale of how relationships crumble and fall(hence i think "the Carnival of Rust") var explained it really well lyric by lyric....i just wanna add that i think the fencing bit is just the persons in the relationship fighting and putting the blame on each other.... dancing like foes in fencing before the fatal blow...and dancing dangerously like a matador....trying to evade the bull of truth.... |
