First off, love this song, one of if not my favorite off a damn good album. My interpretation though is and has been since I first heard it, that an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend comes back around wanting to try again and the person's mind is saying yes, it can work, you still care while the heart is saying no, don't make that mistake again. That you can say all you need to, do what you need to but don't commit again. But that's just me, lol. |
