I agree. I don't think this song is directly about a relationship, though I can see how on a macro level it can become about a relationship, instead I think it is about looking at the world with a more open perspective, about living your life by your standards and not apologizing for that but reveling in the fact that you aren't afraid to be different. It's about using words instead of war, although the album titled "This is war", I feel it's more a war on society in the main. We should all accept that no one is going to be what you except them and not hate them for it but love them for those differences. Either way you view the song is the right way to view it, it's a gorgeous and inspiring song and video :] I like you comment! |
