I think this song is about someone who is perhaps a little over sensitive/self-conscious "Hey, Snow White-" who is being consoled over general insecurity "-it's going to be alright". The insecurity comes from when your life or something you are a part of/associate with "the company" goes from being private to public. The way to overcome anxiety that might come from that loss of privacy is to love who you are so it can stand the test of public scrutiny. That's how you can win some. "some" being the vague part of the song allowing the audience to draw their own meaning. Sorry the literal interpretation but the others ones above me irritated me so much! Cocaine? Really?? |

This is the first song of stars i heard years before i properly got into them and it has such a beautiful sentiment. I love how the guy bows his head "in grieving" and repeats the steps suggesting they feel exactly the same way to try it the seventh time. How can it be anything other than heaven when they've already triumphed the other six and still want to go again. Also some corrections "They go..." (not recall), "It ends up in you leaving", "It's all about the trust", "Four the meaning" and "Three is the Ulcer". |
