This is a nice unique song for me since the lyrics are references to the actual show The Twilight Zone episodes. I love the show and Rush so it's nice to have this gem. To be more specific here are the references: "A pleasant faced man steps up to greet you He smiles and says he's pleased to meet you Beneath his hat the strangeness lies Take it off, he's got three eyes" Is about the episode "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?". -- "You wake up lost in an empty town Wondering why no one else is around" Is about the episode "Where Is Everybody?". -- "Now the fourth dimension is crossed... You have entered the Twilight Zone Beyond this world strange things are known" Is (to what I believe) is about the episode "Little Girl Lost". Or it could just be about the show in general. |
