I went to Jerusalem in June of this year. I'm not religious; therefore I do not connect with the Jewish people, the Christian people, nor the Muslim people. I feel I gained a perspective that MOST cannot see. I went with no biases; more so to study how three major monotheistic (and "Abrahamic") religions can exist in one place. This song can go both ways in this conflict. "Cut off the roots of your family tree." By demolishing the houses of the Palestinians (the 10 month temporary band was just lifted this week), does Israel realize that they are doing the same thing they are trying to prevent, I wonder. :) Do not be brainwashed by the media. THINK about what you feel, and WHY you feel that way. See there are crimes on BOTH sides. If anyone has ANY interest in this conflict I highly recommend watching "Promises"; about how children are affected in this longstanding conflict. |
