I think that definitely fits with what this song is about. She runs around her ego. She runs around her Gold Coast. This person is putting on a front, but really just wants to find a peace of mind. He sings of wanting to get to know the real person behind the front. |

All of you who don't think Andy is religious/spirtual are ignorant. Many of Manchester Orchestra's songs make references or symbolize biblical happenings and his struggle with his faith. Specifically with this song, he even says in an interview that the lyric about manna is in fact taken from the biblical story. Check out prep1891's link. |
