anyways i think this song is about somebody who took everything for granted, treated everyone like a dick.
"black tar in your veins"
possibly saying that now the person is corrupted, and now he is spiraling downward.

Emo music is stupid, life is a gift, emoness(?) is a disease that really shouldn't be around. A great song you should listen to is "The Sound of Madness" by Shinedown. That illustrates what you should do perfectly. And calling Slipknot's audience narrow-minded is a stupid generalization, i listen to SoaD, Eminem, Slipknot, Metallica, AFI, and over a hundred other bands/rappers. Good music is good music, if you should be insulting any music it should be the crappy pop out nowadays. Here's some irony for you - YOU are being narrow-minded by calling all fans of Slipknot narrow-minded. It pisses me off that people like you make huge generalizations caused by ignorance, when by doing which you are being ignorant! And tpman45 SoaD is probably one of my favorite bands, they are just as good as Slipknot... |
